Well you can check out my combat system on my site, or
you can go to places like www.atfantasy.com and see
some of the DnD stuff there. the 3e (3rd Edition) site
also has some good stuff in it. I'm sure you can gleen
some ideas from most of these sites. When we came up
with the Battle System for Endless Passages we wanted
something completely original which is very, very hard
to do in the RPG world as most things have already
been done by now. But I think we managed to accomplish
that goal somewhat. It's not an easy task, as it's
hard to incorporate realism into any battle system and
still make it feasible, but if all your looking for is
simplicity I would suggest just keeping the stock
battle system in place as it does a fine job on it's
own.
