me again.... this profiling stuff really burns my ass.
I've still got a huge leak of something somewhere.
I thought I'd give profiling a shot, I follow all the steps, but something
always seems to not work..
So I do the -pg thing, I run the gprof thing, I get an error.. and as my
luck goes, there's no documentation anywhere on it:
gprof: gmon.out file is missing call-graph data
Okay maybe there is but but it's hidden real deep somehwere.
If anyone else has had this problem and overcome it.. share the wealth man
it's way too late for me to be screwing with it, I need sleep, I have to
work.. put food on the table, a roof over my children's heads.....
Okay so I don't have any kids but god dammit I don't feel like figuring
this out.. somebody baby me and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
