Subject: [ROM] gsn definitions

So...

I was wondering why the gsns are defined in merc.h AND db.c

Is it really necessary to have them in both places?

They definitely aren't defined in both. They are defined in db.c. In
merc.h you'll notice prior to the definition you have 'extern'. This
allows you to use these variables in different files other than db.c.
