Yes, I've already checked that. It's a problem where the system call is
being denied (or so it seems).. I'm having the same problem from my php
pages.

I assume on your platform mv -uf is a valid option?

If you haven't already I'd cd into the directory and attempt one or  
two of these manually to see  what might cause the error.
