In the frame of the Online Educa 2004 in Berlin (www.online-educa.com) the EQO, SEEL and SEEQUEL projects will launch the European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning. This event will take place on Thursday 2/12 - 19.15-20.00hours in the "Fireplace Room" @ Hotel Intercontinental, Berlin. The European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning is a new initiative from three successful European e-learning projects. They approach quality in e-learning from different and complementary perspectives and thus develop full-scale services for all educational fields, regional contexts and target groups. The Foundation aims at building a sustainable and proactive network of actors and thus providing valuable services to the European e-learning community. The Foundation will provide support, transparency, open participation and leadership for a broad range of topics. The purpose of the Foundation is to involve actors into a European community of users and experts in order to share experiences how e-learning can be used to strengthen individual, organisational, local and regional development, digital and learning literacy, and promote social cohesion and personal development.
