The Web site, GlobalHealthReporting.org, is a project of the Kaiser Family Foundation with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Kaiser announced the launch of the site on March 31. The site provides a variety of resources helpful to health reporters, including the latest news and events related to global health issues. It also offers a range of facts and statistics on various issues, with larger sections devoted to HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. In addition, visitors can search for information by country and browse a selection of useful reporting tools, such as glossaries and reporting handbooks.
