Czech president starts
campaign against the European Constitution
The president of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus, yesterday kick-started the campaign against the European constitution, with the publication of his essay “Will you say yes or no to the treaty of the European Constitution?”
The 60-page essay, written by the eurosceptic president in cooperation with a think-tank, outlines ten reasons for the treaty to be scrapped.
The initial print-run reached 40,000 copies, and a further 100,000 copy second edition is set to be published soon, reports ABC.
