A first step towards the post-accession management of EU Funds |

The Twinning Project launched today will strengthen the institutional capacity of the Paying Agency for Rural Development and Fishery, in the view of its accreditation as responsible body for the technical and financial implementation of the programmes financed through the European Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development and the European Fishery Fund.
With a budget of 921,500 Euro, the project will support the preparation of the newly created Paying Agency in the view of accreditation, through:
- Creating the administrative system (defining the organisational chart and the tasks of the Agency's employees);
- Drawing up the procedures of implementation of the rural development and fishery programmes;
- Improving the professional skills of over 100 employees within the Agency (via training sessions, study visits, internships).
