292 million Euros for Romanian transport and environment infrastructure
Description: The official ceremony of signature of the 12 Ispa Financing Memoranda, with a total value of 292 million Euros, out of which 217 million EU non-reimbursable funds, took place today. The money will be allocated for environment infrastructure (water and wastewater systems, solid waste management) and transport (road and railway infrastructure). The ceremony was attended by Jonathan Scheele, Head of the European Commission Delegation in Romania, Sebastian Vladescu, Public Finances Minister, and representatives of the bodies involved in the management and implementation of Ispa programme in Romania.
