RAJAC Iasi has finalized the works for the project "Rehabilitation of the pumping stations Pacurari, Aurora, Mijlociu". This is the first works Ispa contract finalized in the field of environment in Romania. The value of the investments is
4.2 million Euro and Ispa measure provides 75% grant out of the total eligible cost.
Prezent la ceremonia de inaugurare, Jonathan Scheele, Seful Delegatiei Comisiei Europene in Romania a declarat: "Contractul Ispa finalizat astazi a finantat modernizarea si automatizarea a trei statii de pompare, conducand la imbunatatirea generala a serviciilor de alimentare cu apa. De acum incolo, locuitorii Iasiului vor beneficia de servicii de alimentare cu apa continue, in deplina concordanta cu standardele europene si internationale. Am increderea ca aceasta inaugurare va fi in curand urmata de alte succese pe intreg teritoriul Romaniei, dand astfel semnale pozitive cu privirea la capacitatea de absorbtie a fondurilor de la Uniunea Europeana".
