They're all good choices.  Unfortunately, the debate over which language 
to use kills off the scripting project every time someone thinks about 
starting it up again.  So my attitude regarding this is: whoever writes 
the scripting module gets to select the language.  
   
 As the module begins to come together, it'll probably require extra 
functionality in the server core to expose additional parts of the system. 
 All of this will then become available to anyone who wants to write 
another module to bind an additional language, as fleeb alluded to.
