Ok, if you want to try again, then go ahead ... but keep track of the 
changes we're making in the trunk in case anything changes that would 
break your branch later.  I don't anticipate that being the case, though, 
since pretty much everything we're doing at this point is up at the UI 
layer rather than in the program's basic infrastructure.
