As you figured out, it's the libical build at
freeassociation.sourceforge.net. What you might not have picked up yet is
that we are the maintainers of that project as well. libical is used in
dozens of different calendar and scheduling programs. It was abandoned a
couple of years ago and everyone's got their own fork of it. We've been
managing an effort to get it into active maintenance again so everyone can
un-fork. KDE is pretty much there, Evolution is on its way, then we're
going to tackle Mozilla.
Despite all the effort required, though, it's really just an effort to
consolidate other people's work so we don't have to do it ourselves.
