Ok, here's more info on the problem: 
  
 When the problem starts to happen (again, right after TDAP runs) -- 
CC->redirect_buffer
no longer works for housekeeping threads (bound to &masterCC).   
  
 This means that the fulltext indexer is coming up with blanks too, which
