I just sent my entire Citadel address book to my Android mobile using Z-Push (activesync protocol). It was an interesting experience. I'm still a bit shaken by the idea of a Linux mobile talking to a Linux groupware server using a Microsoft protocol. Anyway, the vcard-to-mapicontact code in the existing "directory full of vcards" backend ported over to the Citadel backend with zero changes (ok one change, merely to change where it gets the string containing the vcard, but that doesn't count). I hope the code to write an address book entry back to the server goes just as easily :)
