I once again tried to install ReactOS via grub4dos starting from a win98 setup. grub4dos successfully runs Puppy Linux.frugal install. Previously, i was on a scsi system. This time it's all ide. Install hangs after ndis.sys line. I tried the atapi.sys -> uniata.sys patch. No difference. I'm using grub4dos version 0.4.4 Is the win98 mbr going thru io.sys the problem? How does anyone else do a cdless install that includes windows?
