Hello, when I try to make Data Model reverse engineering to a remote database, which is oracle8.1.7, I get following error message: "Unable to connect to the database with the specified information. Please verify the connection information"
Username, password and Service name are correctly typed. The connection with sql Net (sqlplus) succeeds, so does the reverse engineering with Erwin4.0. It means the tnsnames.ora must be correctly defined. Does Rose use some ODBC driver, which I maybe does not have or is not correctly configured? Mirja H.
