Custom properties are accessed via generic method calls unlike hardcoded properties. There's a bunch of methods you can use to get custom properties:
GetToolProperties()
GetPropertyValue()
These and other methods are documented in the on-line help that is installed with Rose.

Subject: (ROSE) Accessing Cutomised Model Properties with REI.
Objective:
To spellcheck my use case specification.
Problem:
My spellchecker does not spellcheck the customised fields in my
use case specification.
Supporting Information:
This is the line in the script that accesses the documentation
field of my use case spec.
Value = theUseCase.Documentation
I also have several other fields labelled 'preconditions' for
example that I want to spellcheck.
Summary:
How can I access these customised fields from the same
spellchecking script?
Cheers,
Les.
