That's what I'm thinking. I imported a file, cut a segment out of it, moved the segment to an empty track, deleted all but that track... (There's still that weird artifact at the bottom in that case... It just looks scary, makes me think the program is probably going to crash soon. Go figure. :)
Then I selected some events from a notation view, via my event filter, copied those events... Then I created a new track, created a segment, opened a notation view, pasted the events into the notation view, and just a trifle after they showed up, kaboom.
