Notation Editor lBUG - Clef insertion and deletion leads to broken notation
and a segmentation fault

Inserting and then immediately removing a clef in the notation editor causes
a very broken rendering of the canvas, and also is often followed later by
a segmentation fault. In general drag-and-drop editing of clefs seems
to be very fragile and frequently causes corrupted notation and/or
a segmentation fault.
