Relative positions of notes corrupted when dragging large selections in matrix editor
In the matrix editor, when you drag a large selection of notes that includes many chords to a new position there is a strange positional distortion or quantisation which seems to cause some notes in some areas within the selection to be moved a slightly different distance compared to all the other notes in the selection. The distance skew can be as large as several 1/64th notes. The effect is cumulative so if you do repeated movements of different selections which have some overlap, the overall result is an awful mess! Even a very small amount of this type of distortion would ruin the music from a performance perspective. It happens even when quantisation is turned off and the snap-to-grid option is turned off too. I wonder could this bug possibly be related to the compulsory legato feature/bug described separately? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
