Larry, could you try commenting out rosegarden/gui/rosegardenconfiguredialog.cpp line 1932 (see below), rebuild, see if it still happens?

Comment this out:
//m_metadata->setFocus();
Going to the settings menu/configure rosegarden and clicking apply causes a segv/crash.
