Erasing all but one note from a beamed group of notes
incorrectly leaves the beamed property on the remaining note.
The beamed property that remains on such a previously beamed note
is only visible in the "Advanced Events Editor" window.
The remnant property confuses the notation editor so badly during
subsequent editing that the notation editor eventually crashes.

A clumsy workaround is to unbeam all notes before doing any erasing,
and re-beam them afterwards.
