And it definitely works for you? For me it provokes a very simple case of settings amnesia. If I add some debug output to the new function you added, it says it's writing a URL to the config and then it can read it out again and print the result. But the icon never appears in the file dialog, and the config line never shows up in my rosegardenrc -- neither during the same run (even if I say "Save Settings") nor after RG has exited. I've been staring at the (obviously rather complicated) strace output trying to work out where it goes wrong, but it's not obvious. This is with KDE 3.1; if it's all fixed in 3.2 I'll be inclined just to leave it. (My machine with 3.2 on it is having problems at the moment so I can't try it.)
