btw, I notice that your existing fix for scrolling while dragging the playback pointer doesn't work for scrolling when dragging out a loop (i.e. Shift pressed). Haven't looked at the code in question, would it be easy to make that work as well?
It would be easy, but it's not the same fix. That is, the scrolling problem when dragging the playback pointer is actually completely different from the one when following an edit tool for instance (it was a feedback loop due to the explicit setting of the playback pointer's position). However the auto-scroll while setting a loop should be similar to the one while following an edit tool.
Note that I don't consider the playback pointer scrolling to be fixed, it's better than it before but still not satisfactory.
