You can't "make channel 10 an audio track." It doesn't quite work that way. If a track is an audio track, it is no longer associated with MIDI in any way, and in any case there is no hard and fast association between a track number and a channel at all. For more details on how it all fits together, see: http://rosegarden.sourceforge.net/tutorial/ > CCRMA guru. He says it must be a bug with Rosegarden using the Delta > 1010. You *do* realize that Rosegarden has a built in metronome function, right? There are two of these, controlled independently. By default, the one that plays during recording is turned on, and the one that plays during normal playback is turned off. I think it's very likely you're just hearing the normal state of things. Out of the box, the metronome will sound whether you are recording MIDI or audio. To make it stop, simply turn it off. Toggle the extra controls on the Transport window, and it should be obvious which button to hit. If that doesn't make it stop, then we'll go from there. -- Michael McIntyre ---- Silvan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Linux fanatic, and certified Geek; registered Linux user #243621 http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/ http://rosegarden.sourceforge.net/tutorial/ ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
