It *should* be enough to prevent the problem, but I'll bet nobody has ever tried to conditionally build or not build an entire source file before. I can't think of any examples of that, off hand. Just bits that are ifdeffed out of files that otherwise compile. I'll check this out in a moment myself and see if I can offer anything further. > less intuitive -> I will *like* gcc 4, "syntax error" reminds me on > commodore 128 basic, long, long time ago, uuh, I was so young then): Yes we were, weren't we? :) I first learned programming on a TRS-80 Color Computer and a Commodore VIC-20, I think it was called. IIRC it only had 4K of RAM. We had the Commodores in school, and right next door was the classroom where I learned to type. On an old mechanical Royal that had no 1 key. > => It seems that there *is* really a problem with "automtaically creating > *_moc.cpp" from unknown .cpp sources found on the filesystem". This really isn't my area, but I'm around at the moment, and I'll see if I can come up with anything. -- Michael McIntyre ---- Silvan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Linux fanatic, and certified Geek; registered Linux user #243621 http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/ http://rosegarden.sourceforge.net/tutorial/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Yahoo.
