Sounds right to me.  Definitely off by default, though, and none of this 
annoying business of things you never use having buggy build logic that makes 
things fail unless you install all the crap they want and build them anyway.  
(LIRC used to be that way, which is the only reason why I have a LIRC-enabled 
Rosegarden.)
