I've actually gotten out to my shop, gotten everything adjusted up and ready to run, and started work on an actual time-consuming project that will eat my spare time for who knows how long to come. A couple of weeks. A month. Longer.
I managed to ignore my computer pretty much the whole day after noon or so, and I'm only back at it because I need something to do while the first of many rounds of glue is drying. Instead of selling off my shop piece by piece, I'm going to try selling luxury goods piece by piece, starting with an improved version of the chess box I made for Dad a few years ago. This thing has no plywood, no veneer, and no cheap compromises. I did most of the work with vintage hand tools, and never touched its surface with a piece of sandpaper. I'm off to a ripping good start on its successor. I'll offer Rosegarden Land the first chance to buy the thing, though I'm afraid it ain't gonna be cheap at all. -- D.
