I tried first without QObject, but obviosly the classes, in which I tried
tr() first,
were not subclasses of QObject.
I hope there is such an advantage, since I do not know. The brute force way
was to always write QObject::tr() everywhere.
In some translations the translation context is given by specifying
additional
arguments for tr(). Then you should be able to translate the same text in
two
distinct ways.
I can trivially script this change, if you like, by the simple

I do not have conflicting plans. I will rather concentrate now on
bugs-as-usual and
getting the translations really to work.
