(I understand you will be away for a week, but I want to comment while I am thinking about it.) I don't see the warning icon at any point. It tried overlapping segments with different clefs and different keys. If different clefs, one or the other of them appears, but never both, and no warning icon. If different keys, one key is drawn in red. As far as the warning icon itself, I think this situation of mismatched clefs or keys or transpositions is not necessarily /!\ level warning material. It should probably be more like a /?\ kind of thing, or maybe even something funny. I have a mental picture of a treble clef mixed with a bass clef, and a sharp mixed with a flat. -- D.
