That's possible indeed, although my little tour through the revision history didn't really reveal anything suspicious. Oh well. > That then tripped up the existing packager code, which > I'm guessing isn't tested much as audio seems to be a low priority. It seems most people just use Ardour for audio, and those features have never been all that popular. I used to use our audio a fair bit myself, back when I composed music, but the last time I did was early 2008 or so. I don't think I've actually completed a real creative project with the new Rosegarden even once. Then there's the matter that the project packager is a total rewrite from scratch, based more on reverse engineering existing .rgp files than on deciphering the original script, which was a bash script wrapped around a Perl script that depended on a number of external utilities from KDE. It was a big mess. I did what I could to make sure everything was working, but it's entirely possible that I simply overlooked or failed to test something. > I need the packager so I can store my test cases in a more convenient > fashion. Many of them involve audio files. That's why I stumbled on this. It's good that somebody is using it. I spent a great deal of time on that rewrite, and it makes me happy to see somebody do something with it. > Anyway... Glad to finally be back to real work.) It's nice having you back, Ted. -- D.
