Tom:
I just tried it without using qjackctl or qsynth. For sound generation,
I used only my Soundblaster card (emu10k1).
I used my keyboard, recording on the two MIDI channels simultaneously
(this time 5, and 6), and it seemed to go well while recording the
piece. I saw the note-lines appearing in the segments of both tracks,
simultaneously.
I finished playing the piece, and the position-line in the segments pane
was still moving.
I then clicked the "stop" (the filled-in square) toolbar button of the
Rosegarden window, and the Rosegarden window immediately disappeared (I
assume from the crash). It doesn't bring up the bug-report dialog now
because I have already reported the crash.
