Interesting. I tried tracking it down with gdb, but I guess I don't have the source installed, so it didn't let me. Or I did something wrong. gdb is still not as much fun to use as it should be.

Agreed. I've pushed it to master. Please, everyone, beat this up as much as you can. 22.06 is Wednesday and I don't feel very safe making changes like this so close to delivery. Anything you can do to set my mind at ease will be appreciated.
