Part of the reason I got away from the lists was that GMail made changes that forced me to abandon Thunderbird, and the basic GMail web client doesn't handle SourceForge mailing list emails well. My choices were reply to you, or reply to all. No reply to list. I went with the latter, which is replying to you, and to the list. This is not ideal. I'm probably speaking HTML too. I don't like it, but I am powerless to do anything about it. I've been angry since 1995, but the world moved on, and the world doesn't care about my happiness in the slightest. I'm an old, fat fossil from a time before smartphones and versions of Windows that only crashed once a month or so.
Anyway, I got all the code, built it, and I've been poking around. I haven't made any progress yet, putting numbers in the right places to fix the spectacular mess. All I have managed so far is to make a mess into a much bigger mess, and then a vastly much bigger mess. Following dead ends. Off by one here, off by one there. Stems don't line up with notes, bar lines don't line up, beams don't line up, slurs don't line up, it's just a horrible mess. My thinking is to wrap some hacks around config options, once I find some hacks that work. 4kHackIsEnabled=true or something to that effect. Then I'll figure out how to send the whole thing to Ted. Me no speako git whatsoever, but I can probably get there. If I ever figure this out, and so far, I am totally stumped. It's an ongoing process. I'm poking and prodding, and I may well get there one of these days, weeks, months, years, decades, or centuries. As if I had any chance of living for multiple centuries.
