I managed to get qsampler working on pipewire. A bit tricky.
Not sure where your problen is.
Some questions:

1. Can you record midi from your keyboard in Rosegarden ?
Start Rosegarden and press record. Play some notes on the keyboard. Press stop in Rosegarden. Do you see the notes in Rosefgarden ?

2. If you have notes in Rosegarden can you play them with qsampler ?
Start qsampler and add a channel. Set the instrument - I used a general midi sf2 file. With some notes in Rosegarden open the Rosegarden midi device manager and connect the midi playback with the linuxsampler. You may need to connect the linuxsampler output to your sound device (use qjackctl).

How far do you get with these two steps ?

I am trying to use rosegarden on top of pipewire-jack to record MIDI from a keyboard. I want to use linuxsampler/qsampler instead of qsynth which I was using previously, but I am having issues getting JACK and ALSA to work together.

Currently, I am unable to get JACK MIDI devices to work as output for rosegarden, and when I try to use ALSA MIDI devices from qsampler, I am unable to set an output.
