Hi!

I am using the zoom wheels in the right bottom corner.

Rosegarden does not crash when creating only an empty segment and using the zoom wheels exzessively.

It also does not crash when using a 10 minute long drum track and using the zoom wheels exzessively.

But it crashes when using my large standard Rosegarden testing file, consisting of 16 MIDI tracks, 2 audio tracks, 2 lv2 synth tracks, 23 minutes long.

I tried both zooming with the mouse wheel and the zoom wheels. After several times of zooming Rosegarden crashes 😳. The terminal message is "memory access error".

I am not running out of memory, there are about 450 MB of free Ram left on my 4 GB machine according to "top".

Greetings, Michael

BUT I still have the bug that Rosegarden crashes completely when in the matrix editor performing several zooming movements. Can please someone confirm that?
We've been working on matrix zoom issues but I've only been able to get a crash in extreme circumstances in the older version.

What is the procedure to reproduce your crash?  And are you using Ctrl+Mouse Wheel or the zoom wheels on the UI to zoom in your procedure?

Ted.
