Hi. The resolution is terrible, but I did an animation of pyroutelib2 at work:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=fr0DkMfTPtk The original video file will be here for a while: (better resolution etc., about 11MB) http://dev.openstreetmap.org/~ojw/files/Video/pyroutelib2/ that's Godalming to Ashford (>90 miles), just for a sense of scale. The blue rectangles show areas where it decided to download map data. The yellow dots are the routes that it's considering. So it seems reasonably efficient in terms of what data is being loaded (the less blue the better..) regards, OJW p.s. the weightings file in SVN still loves trunk roads and considers them as good as motorways (in case you're wondering why it didn't pick the M25 that time) p.p.s. aspect ratio is totally out -- the blue rectangles should look square if you viewed them on a slippy-map. I'll put a widescreen version on dev later. _______________________________________________ Routing mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/routing
