I think there is also a very strong motive to map things "correctly" which will help. I don't share your enthusiasm; we might get a few people driving around with clumsy devices or some hacked software on their PDAs which works half of the time, but this is really something where I believe the big players will one day just build it into their Tomtom and Medion devices and that's that. But you're welcome to prove me wrong.
