If some of the folks following this list have access to commercial EDI management tools, it may be helpful to share with the group the list of data elements (including max. field lengths and data types) that your system can hold for each trading partner. This would help to ensure that we are not overlooking key elements and it may also facilitate an approach to auto-configuration of the local EDI software.
