this doesn't prove I'm not crazy ;))MinML currently permits  but I pan to fix this. I would be very surprised if any of the "heavyweight" XML parsers allowed it. As an Aside there is an ongoing proposal for XML 1.1 which would remove this constraint (though it would possibly not allow the character with the value 0).
