The last time we talked about 2.0, we decided that getting 1.2 out the door was a prerequisite for any serious consideration of scope or timeline for 2.0.
That said, there are several major changes we have informally planned for 2.0. Some of these include:
- abstraction of HTTP transport from XML-RPC processing
- interceptors and introspection
- use of commons-logging, commons-httpclient, and commons-codec internally
Actually, this thread may be a nice way to start talking about it. Anything you all want to add to the list?
