Hello,

I'm just a user and there seems some activity on this project (Great!) so I thought what about resurrecting an old patch I've made eons ago so I can sync with latest release. The patch is attached and was made against CVS HEAD.

Basically, it aims at adding the possibility to create the web server on a random port attributed at runtime by the JVM. With this code, one can run several servers on a single machine and they can then be published using dns-sd or other means; actually the dns-sd and XML-RPC couple produces a very nice P2P LAN architecture.

Also, I tried to add this patch to the Bugzilla database, but although I can access bug reports for the XML-RPC product, e.g.:
http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=28982

Clicking new doesn't allow me to pick this product. I'm a little bit confused here.

Paul
