We have an application that communicates via dialup. Sometimes, however, the dialup connection is severed during the middle of a client.execute() call. We would expect an IOException to be raised eventually due to the loss of connectivity, however the client just sits there, waiting for a response. Is there anyway to set a timeout for this? Or a workaround to prevent this type of situation from occurring?
