I was looking for a way to use a different implementation of HTTP, preferrably using Jakarta HTTPClient ... so that I can set the SO_TIMEOUT on the underlying Socket.
The CVS web shows an interfaces
org.apache.xmlrpc.XmlRpcTransport
org.apache.xmlrpc.XmlRpcTransportFactory... both of which were updated last December 2002 and January 2003, respectively.
However, the xmlrpc-1.2-b1 release, which was made on February 2003, the above 2 interfaces are not in the release.
