Thanks for this - there was another reference to network-linux.h in here - I'm using a Mac. Having changed the code, I've now got EtherRPCEm to load without giving an error and have been able to configure the network per the instructions in the Linux networking guide. Unfortunately, I am unable to ping 172.31.0.1 - it keeps saying "Host is down". Not sure why this is.
