Hi all spooners,

I was using emulation settings as follows.

Executable = Compiler
RISC OS version = 4.02 (legal)

CPU = StrongARM (greyed out)
RAM = 16mb (shouldn't this be 16MB?)
VRAM = 2mb (ditto) (greyed out)

Video refresh rate = ? forgotten, but didn't alter it.

Sound = not ticked
CD_ROM = disabled
Mouse = Follows windows mouse

Result: Couldn't get any of the iconbar menus to open nor any filer
windows. Couldn't even 'draw' a square with the mouse on the pinboard.
:-((

Your 'how much memory' question prompted me to try
RAM = 32mb .

Then everything I tried worked! :-))
I could open filer windows, see iconbar menus and win a game of
patience. Also SciCalc got its sums right.

When I get the opportunity (= when Wife is out) I will test some
more software on my Wife's, from the dark side, computer.

There is an Apple Mac in the house, belongs to my daughter I hasten
to add, so I could test RPCemu on that. It is an Apple G4 Quicksilver
monster with 2 handles atop of September 2001 vintage. I think the
OS is OS X. Is there a binary version of RPCemu for that or is the
Apple binary for the later Apple computers with Intel CPUs?

Cheers,
Dave Lane
