I've not seen anyone answer this yet.
You don't say what version of RPCEmu and Host/EmuFS, but is it as simple as
the discs being created read-only? On EmuFS and RPCEmu 0.8.2, rpc.cfg
contains lines near the end reading
hostfs.driveN.permissions = read,write
and on the Home disc, this is just "read" by default.
