FWIW As a 'new user' I'd echo a preference for this. It has
confused/puzzled me why there are 'two versions' and not knowing what
differences there may be. I tried and used the 'non spoon' version before I
realised that there was a spoon 'alternative' and I can see this might
deter or confuse other newbies like myself.

I've just written an article for 'Archive' on using rpcemu (on Linux) and
hope to write some more about it in future. I'm intending to write a number
of articles that are in the Linux/ROX/rpcemu area with the aim of helping
myself and other RO-aware people into making use of them. However writing
documents like these can become more complicated if there are mulitiple
versions that differ.

Above said, the forking was before I was aware of rpcemu so I for all I
know there were good reasons of which I am still ignorant.

Slainte,

Jim
