Hello,

I use an Iyonix normally. I have a laptop using Win7
I set up RPCEmu,
Paid 5ukp for the 402 Rom from ROL
Dowloaded n HD image from there.

Got as far as I could with instructions.

I get a RO4 type desktop in low res. I have no network or working HD images
or ShareFS doing anything useful really. I clearly have a rudimentary
!Boot, but have no correct RO 4.02 boot to go with it as I only have an
Iyonix. I do have a RPC (3.8 I think) but it is some effort to wire and
power it up.

I currently get a message Tap-Win32 Could not open 'rpcmenu'
Then : networking unavailable
Then I get a working ROS 4.02.

HostFS has got a couple of apps in, which display the run file in edit when
double clicked.
There is a file called RO4Disc
and a folder called Network with stuff in.

Drive 4 says Disc not understood, has it been formatted etc.

I did the necessary stuff to deal with Tap-Win32. (I thiink)

However I could not do the instructions under the section: Riscos Install
network driver. It asked me to click a linmk which seems to be broken:
support.riscos.com/Support/Releases/index.htm
This I think should give me the boot sequence. Possibly because I don't
have RO4 I am not allowed it but have paid for the ROMs.

I have considerd the RO5 route but the docs suggest this is problematic.

Would someone be able to advise me about where to go from here.

Thanks for reading all this.

Bob
